recently
ive started to think that maybe we're all just too collectively emotionally injured to be salvageable as a species. if we all keep failing to take care of ourselves and consequently keep hurting each other, we are just making it harder and harder for any good to come of humanity. maybe we're too far gone and we will just keep perpetuating the cycle, and thats why its spread to a global level... and maybe thats why people in america are so adamant about their political views because they know that the world needs saving somehow, when really it all starts with the individuals and most individuals are not capable of doing what they need to do.... something has to change cuz the road we're on doesnt look good. im disappointed and scared and feel really really discouraged about everything thats important to me. and that probably comes from me having too positive an outlook before, but its still hard.
